Daniel has a very souldful voice and has collaborated with Mark Ronson. This is his debut album and I am not sure what to expect. I enjoyed the lead single from the album, ‘Change’. Let me know your thoughts.
Phoenix – Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix
Phoenix hail from the coolest depths of Paris. They have a style and swagger unequalled, with their lazy beats, soft vocals and pure, silky guitar licks. This is their fourth album and so far, I have really enjoyed all their offerings.
I’ve been really looking forwqard to this album. Scott Matthew’s debut album rocked my world! Beautiful folky Drake-esque guitar with the haunting vocals akin to Buckley. In my mind a perfect combination! This album looks to push on from Passing Stranger and features a duet with legend himself, Robert Plant. On initial listen, this is a departure from his debut, yet still beautiful in itself.
